Women’s Groups
Being a part of a group can be a less expensive way of getting the support and insight you need. It also provides you with others who are walking the journey with you and who need you as well. I don’t believe in coincidences so it is always intriguing to discover who will be in what group and with whom. How the Universe or Spirit sets it up always works if we let it. Executive Mentoring is the pragmatic and yet life-transforming tool that can easily create and/or support a period of self-evaluation, life assessment, and future goal setting whether in going forward on your current path with a new outlook or in completely changing directions, personally or professionally.
There are those who chose, immediately before or just out of college, to achieve the executive level. For them it was the brass ring. Achieving that level would prove to them and others that they’ve “got it,” they are part of an exclusive club who had “made it.” With their eyes on the prize there was usually little awareness of the price they were paying to achieve that level. For many, there was fear, excitement, adventure and challenge in the beginning of their careers yet over the years as they moved up the ladder things changed. The passion, the adventure, and the desire to keep improving their skills or compete at winning got lost. Negotiations, trouble shooting, meetings, and paper work became their job rather than their passion.
Whatever the route taken, at some point there is often a realization that along the way their relationships with their spouse, their kids, and themselves got lost. Passion, vibrancy and vision got lost as well. A period of transition is needed to reassess, to redefine, and to reevaluate who they are, where they want to go, and how they want to get there.
